OK so things didn't go as planned, I did not leave today. Had to sort out the aluminium boxes for the carriers today, they are finished and fitting after some "adjustments". They turned out this weird yellow/gold colour because of the anodizing but it would have to do for this trip, I guess it does kinda match the gold from the motorbike. Here are some pics of them and the finished carriers.
New time of departure is tomorrow at the break of dawn to miss the hectic joburg traffic.
